Programme of Activity
A key element of what we offer as a project will be the day programme that all residents of LILAC will take part in and will be delivered at a separate site away from LILAC. The day programme is compulsory for all residents, and we believe that having that purpose throughout the day will have a positive impact on helping our residents maintain abstinence.
We will be looking to help residents learn new skills, build their confidence, self-esteem, and untimely help them grow as individuals so when they transition back into society, they are better placed to maintain that abstinence lifestyle. Not only can they have a life without drugs and/or alcohol, but they can also have the life that each one of us deserves.
Key features of our day programme will include:
Group sessions - relapse prevention, 12 step discussions, teamwork etc
1 to 1 counselling
Time with designated key worker
Life coaching - how to achieve your future goals
Yoga and Meditation
Fitness activities
Nutritional guidance
12 step fellowship meetings
Group activities - including days out
Life skills
All residents will be made aware of the weekly plans and we feel that we can adapt our approach based on individuals needs rather than take the one size fits all approach.
